Our reading for this Sunday will be Acts 9, the first part of Saul’s / Paul’s story. This part of his story includes his dramatic turn-around from persecutor of the followers of Jesus to dedicated evangelist. It is one thing to say we believe something. What we actually do reveals what we really believe. The world today has many examples of Christians taking strong stands against other people that also lack proof that these same Christians allow the teaching of Christ to affect how they choose to live their own lives. Followers of Jesus, more now than in 1700 years, need to demonstrate by how they live what they truly believe and value what Jesus said and did.
