Intro to Meditation May 5th

Just a reminder the intro to meditation sessions we’ve generally been holding the second Sunday of the month has been moved up a week due to Mother’s Day.

This is a drop in any month gathering to learn and practice the basics of meditation, so even if you haven’t been before you can join us now. We’ve has some good turn out from people outside of the St Matthew’s group (huzzah the power of social media!) and it would be great to see more of you folk out to join us. People from all sorts of backgrounds have come to this class to learn some of universal techniques of mediation, and I figure the more mix-y the group the more interesting the conversation.

We’ve had some interesting chats already, discovering the similarities of issues people deal with (eg: information overload!) and the variety of perspectives and ideas on how to deal with it.

People meditate for all sorts of reasons –if you’d like to learn how, or freshen up you own practice, or just try sitting with a group instead of on your own– this is a simple, relaxed, comfortable way to do it.
