The monthly drop in introduction to meditation is picking up speed (if you CAN pick up speed while sitting down), so I am now offering it twice a month – roughly the first and third Sundays of the month.
These are really low key events with people from a mixture of spiritual (and non-spiritual) backgrounds, with all varieties of experience in meditative practice. We sit for 20 mins, then share tea and talk (and yes, sometimes even laugh).
If some part of you really wants to learn how to slow down in your zoomy life, drop in and join us this Sunday 3-5pm upstairs in the library.
These are stand alone drop in sessions, accepting donations to a Calgary Homeless Foundation initiative, so come to this one, or any other one from now ’til May.

But really, why not just come and try it? ’cause really, when was the last time you just did NOTHING for 20 minutes in a row? (napping is permitted in class, btw, we’ll wake you up for tea).
